Okay, can someone please explain to me why I thought starting a blog would be this breezy, no-sweat, “let’s get creative and share some thoughts” kind of thing? Like, “Yeah, I’ll throw up a logo, write a couple of posts, and bam, I’m a professional blogger!”

Spoiler Alert: No.

Here I am, one big ass headache into this brilliant idea, and instead of typing out my first post, I’m knee-deep in the hellish world of logo design and website layouts.

Who knew that creating a simple blog would require this much crap? I thought the hardest part would be writing. Nope.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not giving up. But damn. lol

The lesson here? It’s okay to look at the whole process and go, well damn what did I just get myself into? But it’s also okay to laugh at the mess, keep pushing forward, and remember that the fun (and the real content) is just about to kick in.
